We will again this year combine two of the most prestigious pageants in the area:
Little Miss Lake Festival (5th year) and Little Miss Mercer County (17th year). Pageant is free to watch for all parents,
friends, and family in an open-air atmosphere. However, seating is limited and weather-permitting, it will be held outdoors
(so bring your chairs for your comfort either way).
17th Annual Miss Mercer County Pageant will be held on Friday, July
26, at 7:00 pm. This pageant will be held outdoors at Center Stage Performing Arts Academy located at 804
E. Wayne Street, in Celina. (In case of inclement weather, it will be held inside at The Galleria)
Little Miss Contestants (ages 3-6)
will model in a dress of their choice (this can be Sunday Best or Pageant Dress--your choice). There will be no
questions asked of this age group.
Miss contestants (ages 7-12) will also model a dress of their choice (short or long--Sunday Best or Pageant Dress).
Contestants in this age division will also have an onstage question (age appropriate question) for the judges.
Judging consists of the following: Poise, Appearance, and Overall Presence/Showmanship.
Ages 7-12 will also be judged on response as well. Contestants will model/walk to each X on the floor and pose.
All contestants must be at the staging area 15 minutes prior to starting time.
Order of events: Little Miss, Miss
All awards will be handed out at the end of the competition. The two queens will ride together in the
Lake Festival Parade and will need to meet at 5:30 pm for the parade. (This is mandatory of the winners). They will
need to provide their own convertible car. Information will be handed to each winner pertaining to this.
Cost of pageant per contestant is $10 . A registration table will
be available 45 minutes prior to competition for all entries and CASH will need to be the form of payment.
We will also be awarding a Photogenic award. All
contestants interested need to hand in a photo of their daughter prior to competition time on Friday, July 26.
Cost of registration for this competition is $5.
We will also be awarding a Prettiest Smile award. All contestants
interested need to send in a $5 registration fee for this competition also.
Registration forms and fees may be given to us on Friday, July 26th, from
6-6:45 pm. Mastercard/Visa/Paypal on this site until Thursday, July 25, 2013.
